Nordica Ski Resort (Eplény) is the most equipped and exciting Ski Centrum in Hungary thanks to last years’ large-scale developments. Of course Nordica Ski Resort has also made numerous innovations for the new skiing season. The only four-sit chairlift in Hungary, the efficient snow machines, Hungary’s only FIS slope, the longest season, the pleasure of skiing even in the evening, the wide-range of services and programmes contribute to make skiing and snowboarding in Eplény more convenient and entertaining, with a greater guarantee of snow despite of its low-lying.

Eplény Ski Resort officially opens on 17th December for this season. With the starting of all the 6 skilifts, everyone could find the right ski pistes in Eplény’s 4,5 kilometres slope system: the gently sweeping downhill runs for beginners and all the family or the FIS slope for more sophisticated skiers and snowboarders. The uniqueness of Nordica Skiaréna is that here lies the only 30% slope piste in Hungary. This season has also brought a new piste for beginners, which is 550 m long with 70 m level difference. If you would like to re-fresh your ski skills, you could do it individually or in group, with skilled instructors.

Nordica Síaréna hosts over 20 sport events and competitions due to its unique facilities. The Hungarian Ski Race, competition of the Hungarian Special Olympic Association, amateur championships, an extreme sport weekend for freestyle races called Showdown, races of the Snowboard Association are organized in Eplény every year. Special prices and professional shootings will be offered to the boarders right after the day of the official opening.

And for those who don't want to do without the pleasure of skiing even in the evening, the floodlight pistes just the right place ‘till 8.30 pm. It's primarily young winter sports enthusiasts who look for a different skiing experience in specially designed areas of piste and Nordica Skiaréna realises this. A new snowpark is going to be available for them in this season: along the 300 m long piste not only the well-known big-air but some other creative new elements will be introduced.

Nordica Skiaréna is worth to visit not only for the high-quality services being offered there, but for a quality time spent together with your family and friends. It is easy to reach by car or regular buslines. 500 parking places, ski renting, accommodations at the pistes, funpark and icebar, DJ corner wait for the visitors.

Skiaréna Eplény will be opened for the summer season from May 2012 as well: new professional downhill and cross country routes will be developed, and the chairlift will operate with an equipment for bike transport.
