New coin distributor on the Hungarian numismatic market

10th October 2011

A new numismatic company starts operation from October in Hungary. The newly formed Magyar Kincstár coin- and medal distributor company was established in our country as a part of the Norwegian Samlerhuset Group BV, one of the largest European numismatic companies. At its launch, Magyar Kincstár wishes to pay homage for the greatest Hungarian historical figures with release of first commemorative medal series.

Magyar Kincstár issues a commemorative proof quality medal collection of the honouring greatest Hungarian figures with the title “Great Hungarians”, which also involves the image of Saint Stephen and Ferenc Liszt. The coin collection is struck in proof quality coated in a 24 carat-gold, and it is the work of nationally and internationally famous László Szlávics. Magyar Kincstár attaches a Certificate of Authenticity to every single medal. The official limit on the complete collection is only 15 000.

Magyar Kincstár is a member of the Norwegian Samlerhuset Group, which is one of the largest European numismatic companies and is present in 15 European countries and China. Samlerhuset Group is also a co-owner of the Norwegian Mint, which has been entrusted by the Norwegian Nobel Committee to strike the Peace Prize Medal each year.

The aim of the mother company is that through Magyar Kincstár, it creates delighted collectors in Hungary as well, by introducing its high quality products and services, established in close cooperation with the mints and central banks of the different countries. As a result of its activity, Samlerhuset has achieved the trust of half-a million clients so far worldwide. Samlerhuset prides itself on a rewarding relationship they have created with their customers through responsible direct marketing.
